Revivus Featured in Simi Valley Acorn
The Simi Valley edition of The Acorn featured a really nice article written by Carissa Marsh called, “Mixing Music and a Message” on Friday, September 7th.
The best tool for loosening the dangerous and deadly grip that drugs have fastened on the community’s youth is hope.
So says Chad Davidson and Tony Palacio, the organizers of Revivus, an annual youth outreach event happening from 5 to 8 p.m. tomorrow night at Rancho Simi Community Park, 1765 Royal Ave.
Together, the pair are working to spur a revival in the city’s teens and young adults—to make them believe they are more than their addictions, that they can conquer their hang-ups and that there is hope for tomorrow.
