We want everyone who attends Revivus to have the best possible experience. So we have put together some general information below to make life on Saturday, August 4th a little more relaxing by giving you a heads up about what to expect. After the general information is a list of Frequently Asked Questions, or you can Jump to FAQ’s

EXPECT AN AWESOME TIME!

THIS IS A NON-SMOKING EVENT
If you’d like to smoke or vape, you’ll need to leave the event area. You will need to show your wristband to re-enter, so you’ll have no problem coming in and out.

NO PETS ALLOWED
Personal pets are not allowed in the event area. EXCEPTION: Service dogs are allowed.

PARKING
There are THREE parking lots which are attached to Rancho Simi Community Park (ALL PARKING IS FREE!):

1. East side of park, which you enter from Erring Road (farthest from event site)
2. South side of park, which you enter on Royal Ave (just West of Erringer Rd. next to the park’s pool)
3. West side of park, which you enter from Royal Ave and turn North onto Thompson Ln. (this lot has several Handicap parking spaces)

We will ALSO have FREE overflow parking available at Royal High School, so if you arrive a little late, you may want to just drive on over to that parking lot, because the three parking lots at the park are not that big. We will have people directing parking traffic until around 6:00PM. After that, you’re on your own. 🙂

PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOODS SURROUNDING THE PARK!

ARRIVAL TIME
The event officially starts at 3:00PM. If you plan on arriving early that’s okay, but realize that we will not be opening the gates until 3:00PM, no exceptions. There will be a lot of final preparations going on, as well as sound checks for the bands (and they prefer this to be closed to the public). We realize it is a public park, so if you do show up too early, we won’t arrest you or anything. We’ll just make you do country line dancing along the park sidewalks until the gates open.

SEATING
This event is open seating (no assigned seating), so if you want to be so close that you can hear what the band members are thinking, then you’ll want to get VIP seating. WE HIGHLY SUGGEST that you bring sunscreen, blankets, chairs, beach umbrellas (absolutely NO Easy-Up style canopies) and/or anything else to keep you comfy & cozy during the event (food vendors will be available for food and drinks). All general seating will be on grass and there will be no chairs made available. The only exception to this is if you have purchased a Special VIP Package, then you will be able to select a seat that is provided for you in our VIP seating area near the front of the stage. VIP seating is first come, first served in the designated areas based on ticket level purchased.

IMPORTANT: We do NOT allow any Easy-Up style pop-up canopies into the event. Please do not bring them, you’ll just be bummed out after carrying it all the way from your car. We do, however, allow smaller beach umbrellas, such as those which attach to the back of a low-sitting lawn chair. We do not allow ice chests or coolers into the event unless it is for dietary or medical reasons. We’ll have water and drinks available during the entire event, plus a ton of food too, at our various Food Vendor booths!

AMENITIES
We will have portable toilets (including ADA-compliant handicap toilets) and hand washing stations located to the far right of the stage. We will also have a first aid station available at the Revivus booth should you have a need for any minor medical needs.

We will have food vendors serving delicious food and drinks during the entire event, so be sure to bring your appetite and enjoy an excellent lunch or dinner while enjoying the festivities. We do not allow ice chests or coolers into the event unless it is for dietary or medical reasons.

Frequently Asked Questions
——————————————-

What is the schedule?
(All times are approximate and subject to change)

3:00PM Gates Open
4:00PM Breaking Ground Worship
4:30PM Meet & Greet
5:00PM For All Seasons
6:00PM Rhett Walker Band
7:15PM Building 429

What can I bring into the event?

All bags and backpacks are subject to a security search at the gate. No outside food or drinks (please support our local food vendors which will be serving a variety of great food all day). No ice chests or coolers. The only exception is for special dietary or medical needs. No pets allowed in the event area. Easy-Up style canopies ARE allowed this year due to the hotter than normal weather, but please bring something to weight it down in case any winds kick up. Please make sure your canopy doesn’t block people’s view behind you (eg. no siding on your canopy), and you’ll be okay. Beach umbrellas, chairs, blankets, and strollers are also okay. If you are in the VIP section, a chair is provided. (There is no covering over VIP.)

What are my parking options for the event?

Parking is free. There are three parking lots at the park, the largest one is closest to the event on the West side of the park (off of Royal Avenue on Thompson Ln) and includes handicap parking as well. There will also be overflow parking at Royal High School just west of the event on the south side of Royal Avenue. Click here for a Map. If you ride your bike, well…that’s a good question. We have no idea where the bicycle racks are. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

An ID is only required if you don’t have your ticket (we’ll have to look you up in our ticketing system). There is no age requirement for this event. Anyone can come, unless your parents grounded you. á•™(⇀‸↼‶)á•— Children 5 and under are free.

What is your smoking policy?

There is absolutely no smoking or vaping allowed in the event area. As long as you have a valid wristband, you can exit at the front gate to smoke and then return. You’re best bet is to just start wearing a patch today so you won’t have to worry about smoking come August 5th. Think about how great you’ll feel! ಠ‿↼

What’s the refund policy?

All ticket sales are final. (But we’re pretty cool, so if it’s a dire situation, we can probably help you out.) Ticket transfers and upgrades (to VIP) are available at no extra charge (only the difference in ticket price and service fee if upgrading).

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You will need to have either your printed ticket or have the EventBrite mobile app on your smartphone in order for our staff to scan your ticket. Please don’t be “that guy” (or girl). If you ARE that guy/girl, don’t worry, we can take the time to look you up in our system while everyone else waits in line behind you…and then those same people you made wait will give you the stink eye all day long. You’ll feel awful. So don’t be that guy/girl, just bring your ticket or have your ticket ready on your mobile app. \(•◡•)/

Is my ticket transferrable?

Yes! Well…sort of…but it will be up to you to make sure the person you want to give your ticket to has access to your ticket. You can easily transfer your ticket from within the EventBrite website (desktop computer only) from your account. You can access your ticket from your confirmation email or by using your email address on the EventBrite website (remember transfers can only be done on a desktop computer). Or hey…here’s a thought…just give the person your printed ticket (that was easy).

Is it ok if the name on my ticket doesn’t match the person who attends?

Yes. As long as you have a valid ticket that we can scan and validate then you’re all set. The name on the ticket can be Superman or Wonder Woman for all we care, as long as it’s valid when we scan it or look the name up in the system. Once that ticket is checked in, it cannot be used again. Wristbands will be issued upon entry (this is mandatory).

Are there in and out privileges once we enter the gate?

Yes! (But why would you want to leave?) You must be wearing an event wristband in order to re-enter, no exceptions. So be kind to our staff when you first enter the gate. Let them put that annoying wristband on your wrist (you know, the one that always manages to find a way to stick to your arm hair. Ouch!). ಠ~ಠ

Is there wheelchair access?

Yes! But please be aware that this event takes place at a park. More specifically on a softball field, which is relatively flat and on grass. Seating is on the grass facing the infield (the infield is where the stage is located). It is open seating on the grass area so those in wheelchairs should have no problem finding a spot. If you are in a wheelchair and happen to have a VIP ticket, we will also have a few wheelchair spots made available in this area as well. We will have ADA-compliant, wheelchair accessible toilets available as well. The handicap parking spots are located in the parking lot closest to the event area (you must have a handicap placard in your vehicle) and there is a sidewalk which leads right to the front entrance of the event for easy access via a wheelchair.

How can I contact the organizer with any further questions?
